Can Urine Pregnancy Test Post Frozen Embryo Transfer For IVF Give Conclusive Results?

Question 1: On March 19th I underwent Frozen embryo transfer for IVF. Tomorrow is my blood test to determine if I am pregnant. Of course, I cheated and took a urine pregnancy test. It was positive. I have read the if you are doing a fresh IVF cycle , you should not take tests because the trigger shot has hcg in it and the test could be picking that up (false positive reading). However, I am only taking estridol and progesterone shots...no hcg. so the only way my body could be registering hcg is from placenta right? Question 2: If I am registering hcg levels already on a pregnancy test, this means my hcg levels are high...could this mean a multiple pregnancy?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dear Mam, positive Urine pregnancy test may be suggestive of Conception but it may be confirmed by blood test or USG.
coming to yourvsecond query regarding multiple pregnancy, multiple pregnancy can not be predicted by levels of hcg and can only be confirmed by sonography.
I hope this would be helpful for you.
Thanks and regards
