Can Use Of CPAP Machine Cause Bacterial Infection In Lungs?

Can my CPAP machine be causing bacteria in my lungs? Have been using it for approx. 4 months. Had TB as a child and have bronchiectasis and developed a cough recently. Took antibiotics which helped cough. Still feel somewhat weak. Should I stop using the CPAP machine?
