Can Use Of Prozac Or Lamictal Cause Loss Of Appitite?

Hey. So I m trying to help my girlfriend figure out why she may not be hungry. And I know that some medictaions can cause something like this. So I was wondering if it was any of the medications she s taking. She takes, Prozac, lamictal, buspirone and abilify. Can any of these be why she doesnt feel hungry? But if these aren t probable causes, is there anything else that can make her loose appetite? Thanks for reading if you did.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think it is Prozac which is causing her loss of appetite. Lamictal, Buspirone and Abilify don't cause appetite loss.

She may be needed to lower dosage of Prozac or consult a doctor to stop it.

She can try to eat small portions often.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
