Diabetologist 's  Response
Dear sir i can understand your concerns
in my opinion as per latest american diabetes association guideline the useage of this medication glucored forte has been reduced very much for past 5-6 yrs.
there is a new research data telling that this medication can cause serious side effects in heart.
i suggest you to consider using medications like glimipride and gliclazide.
there are many new alternatives like DPP4 inhibitors which work in better way than glucored forte in preventing pancreatic damage.
i suggest you to speak with your doc in rescheduling of her medications
regards
