Can Using Toilet Paper Cause Spotting After Bowel Movement?
Well when I use the bathroom to take a bowel movement and wipe seems to be blood about every time not a lot just here and there and I was wondering if it was because I was using toilet paper and wanting to know if it would be better if I used wet wipes or cloth
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have spotting after bowel movement . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like piles (haemorrhoids) , anal fissure , anal fistula , angiodysplasia , gastroenteritis , diverticula , bowel cancer or anticoagulant drugs . I would uggest you to consult gastroenterologist for proper examination . Doctor may order tests like stool test , blood test and physically examination . Doctor may also order ultrasound ot CT scan . Doctor may prescribe anti inflammatory , antibiotics , laxative to loosen the stool and may recommend surgery on case of piles . For now sit on warm water tub for 15 minutes daily , eat more fibrous food and avoid spicy food .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
