does using a toothbrush for almost a month unknowingly, of a hepatitis b affected person affect a healthy person? the person is said to be in the carrier stage. I am 25, unmarried woman, maintaining a good health and I happened to unknowingly use the toothbrush of my friend who has been diagnosed as having hepatitis b in carrier stage. Will it affect me in any way. The day i realized about it... I changed the toothbrush.
its not necessary that you may have been infected with Hepatitis B.
firstly, if you have been vaccinated against HepB, then your on the safe side. however, if your not vaccinated then its better to straightaway test for "HBsAg" asap.
and also your liver function test. wish you good health. results maybe posted here or you may visit your treating physician. if any further questions, feel free to ask.
