Can Uterine Fibroids Cause A Positive ANA Test Result?
Hello. Can uterine fibroids cause a positive ANA test result? I have uterine fibroids and I also tested positive on an ANA panel with a 1:320 homogenous pattern. I don t have many symptoms of an autoimmune nature.Also, I have previously had Hepatitis C but I am now cured. Could previous Hep C infection cause a positive ANA result? I was cured for 3 months at the time I took the ANA test. Thank you.

The ANA positivity suggests towards autoimmune disease. But in case of infections as well, ANA positivity can be seen. So as you have no other symptoms your ANA positive result could be due to infection as well.
