Can Valparin Chrono 1500 Mg Od And Tab Escitalopram 10 Mg Cause Any Side Effects Like Vomiting ,loss Of Appetite, hair Loss?
my 20 years old daughter is taking valparin chrono 1500 mg od and tab escitalopram 10 mg hs and tab flunarizine 10 mg hs.And she is now complaining of vomiting ,loss of appetite, hair loss, drowsyness and body pain. request advice how to manage these side effects.
Hair falling out is a common disorder. Changes in hormonal levels due to stress, thyroid changes, overall nutrition effects (starvation) can cause it. Vomiting and loss of appetite lower the ability to make proteins including hair. So, any condition or medication that does that is likely to cause hair loss. Very difficult to say which medication can do it. Any of the ones you mention and also removal of escitalopram and flunarizine can cause this. It's really anyone's guess on this. There could also be a coincidental other condition like cancer or urinary tract infection but frankly, it's the medications and it's trial and error to find a combination that works.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
