Can Vertigo And Dizziness Be Caused By Excessive Drinking?
I have recently been through a bender. I drank 5 out of 9 nights. I have been experiencing dizziness now for 2 days. I am sober at the moment. Can excessive drinking cause vertigo 2 and 3 days after the fact. Prior to this I hadn't been drunk in 2 months.
Yes, heavy drinking can cause dizziness two or three days after the intake. This happens because the alcohol in the body is metabolized and excreted and so, the body goes into withdrawal. Please do not worry. This will gradually improve in the next few days.
Best wishes.
