is there a reason why my husband shouldn t take vitamin D3? He has to watch what he takes to make sure it doesn t interact with his other meds. He is not allowed to take any mind altering drugs.. he is on Namzerac although he doesn t have alzheimers . he is also on Omeprazole, diltiazem. low dose aspirin, Tylenol p.m., levothyroxine.
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Vitamin D3 can be taken with other medications what your husband is taking. Literature says that there are no major interaction with the medications what you have mentioned, which your husband is taking. Kindly take the medications as advised and do the necessary follow-up as suggested. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best. Regards, Dr.Ashakiran.S., MBBS., MD.
