Can Water Infection Cause Stomach Pain?
hi i am having sharp pains in my stomach, i wake up during the night with them . i also feel sick in the mornings and i have to lay still for the sickness feeling to go. i visited my gp yesterday and they told me to do a water sample she then told me i had a water infection she prosribed me with some antibiotics called trimethoprim can you think of anything eles it may be?

yes water infection can cause stomach pain.contaminated water can result in infection which can lead to pain.take antibiotics prescribed by your doctor and you can alo take metronidazole 500mg .this medicine is against parasites which also cause pain.
