Pediatrician 's  Response
Hello. I just read through your question.
People with decreased visual acuity tend to squint when they are not wearing their glasses because this helps bend the lens of the eye into a position that focuses the image. There are laser surgeries available for this but these are not typically done in this age group. Until then the best treatment is glasses or contact lenses.

General & Family Physician Dr. Ramesh M.Vachharajani's  Response
Hi,
As squint is since long and not improving with glasses, it might require to go for squint repair.
It is a minor surgery where one lateral eye ball muscle made small and other middle eye ball muscle relaxed so eye ball comes in the center and squint will be cleared.
Consult ophthalmologist and get examined.
He will explain in detail about procedure.
Ok and take care.
