General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

Medications have a half life, this is the time it takes for the amount of medication in the body to decrease by half.

It takes three to five half lives for medication to be eliminated completely. The half life of antabuse is 60 to 120 hours. This means that it would take 180 hours to 600 hours for most of the medication to be eliminated.

The levels would decrease but would not be completely gone.

I hope this helps
