Can Wine Be Consumed Post Intake Of Antabuse Pill?
Thanks I actually took a antabuse pill, they are my mother, she was visiting, that was mistaken for my trazdone before bed , that was when I discovered what had happened question was how long Is it going to have an effect if I decide to have a glass of wine?
Medications have a half life, this is the time it takes for the amount of medication in the body to decrease by half.
It takes three to five half lives for medication to be eliminated completely. The half life of antabuse is 60 to 120 hours. This means that it would take 180 hours to 600 hours for most of the medication to be eliminated.
The levels would decrease but would not be completely gone.
I hope this helps
