I just had a yeast gavial culture taken and it came back with the following. Many epithelial cells - few gram pos cocci-mod pos bacilli-few wbc neutrophils - heavy yeast not Candida albicans. I have taken nine floconazole 150 mg and it hasn t touched it. Do you have any suggestions. Do I need antibiotics?

You are taking a azol group drugs for infection of Candida albicans. Complete a course of antifungal drugs.any other symtomes present than informe a doctor.antibiotics taken in bacterial infection.some superinfection of bacteria present than antibiotic use.
