Can Yelling At The Ear Of A 9-month-old Affect Hearing?
i have a 9 month old baby and i also have 3 dogs inside my house and i feel like i yell alot at the dogs and it really sucks cuz i usually have baby in my arms and i feel like i always yell i n his right ear you think i cam damage his ears and make him go def or have hearing problems in future
although I couldn't estimate how loud the house environment is and I suppose you couldn't measure the deciBells, it is indeed a fact that prolonged exposure to loud environments may cause hearing problems. It's not very rare to be exposed to noises loud enough to cause hearing deficits. A sound which is a little louder than the noise of a car passing right next to you, is enough for your hearing to be impaired. Of course you won't get deaf right away (thankfully!) but the internal part of the ear may suffer damage. Additive damage will result (over some time) to significant loss of hearing ability.
I hope you find my comments helpful! You can contact me again, if you'd like any clarification or further information.
Kind Regards!
