Can You Suggest Any Reason For Getting A Sporadic Warmth To The Leg ?

Has anyone had a patient that gets a sporadic warmth to the leg,ot dependent of position of the leg. This has been going on for about a week for me.It almost feels like someone has a blow dryer to my left leg for a few seconds. The skin is not visiby red and is not hot/warm to the touch. What do you think this could be? I am not diabetic and do not have peripheral neuropathy.

HI
Welcome to Healthcare Magic Forum
Appying a soothing ointment can help (aloe+calendula, lotion/ointment) . And wait for a few days. If there are changes, visit a dermatologist.
Takecare.

hello and welcome to healthcare magic.
given your history it could be just because of long duration of keeping the leg in a dependent position or because of a circulatory problem. See if it helps after walking around for a while. if it persists consult a doctor to check for problems with the blood flow to your leg.
take care.
