Can Zero Sperm Count In Semen Analysis Be Rectified?

Hi, i am male of age 3o yrs, we are trying for a baby, i took semen analysis and got zero sperm count... i was affected by mumps in my age of 20... i am trying for a urologist appoinment, till that i cant tolerate the stress, please explain me whether the mumps is the reason r i may have some other problem...

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
Mumps infection can result in damage to testis. This damage in testis may result in infertility. However this is uncommon.
As you have suffered from mumps at age of 20 years, this might be reason of zero sperms in you. However other reasons of zero sperms should also be ruled out
1. Primary testicular failure & other resons of testis failure
2. Pesticide/toxin exposure (including hot tubs and baths)
3. Obstruction, congenital absence of the vas deferens (CAVD) & Ejaculatory duct obstruction
4. Variocele & other problems
