Candida, Discharge Even After Treatment. Using Dettol Antiseptic While Bathing. Will Dettol Help In Dealing Infection?
hey Dr, am 24 and i have been having re current candida, iwas on treatment but still see the discharge i have resorted to using dettol liquid antiseptic while bathing. i dillute it in water for bathing. does dettol have aside effect and will it help me to deal with the infection since iwas on different treatment but in vain?

Hi Dear,
repeated candida infection requires proper treatment inform of both oral as well as local medication.
If despite proper treatment still you are suffering from infection than perhaps the cause is not candida but some other organism or may be mixed infection which requires a separate treatment
Use of detol will not cause any improvement in your symptoms.
Consult your gynae and get full examination and treatment
