Cause And Cure For Vomiting In An Infant
my 14 week old baby has been vomiting since 3 weeks old, she als has yellow/green explosive diarrehoa, she gets dehydrated at times but i seem to be able to manage this. she doesnt only vomit after her feed but up to 2-3 hours post feed. she is fuly breastfed. is putting on weight but her belly seems to be very round and bloated most of the time. she sleeps well and through the night

Hello, I have read your question and understand your concern.
The symptoms of your baby are consistent with "Regurgitation". If the baby is putting on weight and that is in normal range according to age and sex, don't worry. Help baby to belch after each diet. She should be nursed in an upright posture. Also during lying position, try to keep head above the feet, about 15-30 degrees. We have options of adding some cereals in feed, anti regurgitation formulas or prokinetic drugs, but only after consulting your local pediatrician.
But again interventions are not successful all the times. I would suggest to keep record of child's weight and continue her usual feeds. Regurgitation would settle itself by the age of 6 months.
