Cause For Swelling In The Neck After A Tracheostomy?
my mom has a swelling in her neck area she had a tracheostomy done 6 months now the swelling has a hard bump and is paining the doctor thought is was an infection but the blood test did not show signs of infection what could it be? what else could cause this problem

I think it is a hypertrophic scar or keloid. You need to visit a plastic surgeon or a skin specialist to confirm this diagnosis. If it is hypertrophied scar then an injection of local steroid can help you. There is nothing to be worried as it will decrease by its own.
