i am a 22 year old male for months now i have been suffering from burning urination. along with this symptom i have recently been getting twinging pain in my anus. and felt itchy all over my body(no rash).i have had blood works for sti, a urine test all are clear, although before my results i was givn doxycyclin due to my symptoms. just curious as too what this could be and how too tackle this problem.
Hai, As burning urination may be due to urinary tract infection. As urine culture report will give you the infection which causes the problem.
As you have taken the antibiotics , the symptoms have settled down. Poor hydration and concentrated urine may also cause burning urination for a short span.
some sort of pain in anus should be assessed whether the pain is constant or on and off. whether the pain aggravates while passing stools etc should be ruled out. Regards Dr.S.senthilnathan
