Causes For Vaginal Bleeding After Colonoscopy
Just a little concerned here..I had my third colonoscopy, and there is a little bleeding going on now..The doctor said that he removed a very tiny polyp..But, that it's nothing to be worried about..But, he did say, that he needs to do a simple office procedure for my hemorrhoids..If I heard him right, he said that one of them is a blood clot..I wasn't sure what I heard..Used general anesthesia..But, there is a little bleeding there in the toilet, and on my toilet paper..Worried me a little..Anything to be worried about?

Hello.Although it is a rare complication, sometimes after the realization of a colonoscopy may result in an abnormal communication between the rectum and vagina appearing vaginal bleeding.Go to Emergency Service as soon as possible to rule out this complication.I wish you good health.
