Infectious Diseases Specialist, Dr. Arun's Response
Hello, Thnx to contact us. If I am your treating doctor I would like to advice you that If the patient is non reactive than you do not have to worry regarding your status. If the patient is in the window period than it is probable that HIV may not be detected. In that case I think you can check the status of the patient with P24 antigen for HIV. Rest two investigation hepatitis B, Hepatitis C is once negative is always negative. But even the quality of kit which you are testing also is an important thing. If it is of low quality false negative result may appear. If you have anything else to ask please contact me. Thanx. Dr. Arun Tank
