Chances Of Pregnancy Having Missed The Contraceptive Pills For Few Days?
If I misplaced my Gianvi birth control, it's only been a week that I've been taking it and I had to catch up because I refilled it late but I finally was on the right day, can I order a new pack? I've missed only a day. I've been sexually active, will I get pregnant for missing this day? And will starting over mess up my cycle? Will I have to take a pregnancy test to make sure I'm ok?
contraceptive pills provide effective contraception when taken correctly and have a very low failure rate. The failure rate may increase if you miss a pill and may result in an unwanted pregnancy. To prevent this ensure that you take your contraceptive pills correctly and continually. Follow the package instructions to find the first tablet, start with the first tablet in the pack, and take them in the correct order. Do not skip any doses. Pregnancy is more likely if you miss pills, start a new pack late, or take your pill at a different time of the day than usual. Continue rest of the pack and Use other mode contraception like condom in this current menstrual cycle and start next pack at right time.
If you forget one pill next time take that pill as soon as you remember, if not start a new pack next cycle and use condoms during that period
