Chapped Lips, Cracks Around Mouth. Temporary Relief From Blistex. Coincides With Menstrual Cycle. Solution?

I've been getting extreme cases of chapped lips and cracks around the corners of mouth that are very painful. Lip balm doesn't seem to help. I tried several kinds of chapstick/lip balm and it doesn't seem to moisturize my lips. I've been using medicated Blistex with analgesic and it is soothing temporarily but my lips remain irritated. At first I thought i might be having an allergic reaction to something, but the condition has recurred multiple times and always seems to coincide with my menstrual cycle. What can I do to prevent this from happening?

HI,
From history it seems that you might be having angular stomatitis.
It takes more time to heal due to part does not get rest due to talking, eating, opening of mouth.
Apply gention violet locally.
Take B.complex, folic acid tablets.
If there is more infection then go for one antibiotic medicine course.
Ok and take care.
