Chest Pain, Goes Through Relaxation. Had Cardiac Catheterization, Found Small Arteries Were Blocked Which Opened With Balloon
I have chest pains in the upper center of my chest when I just walk a short distance. It starts by feeling like I am breathing in arctic air. then it turns into chest pain. I had a cardiac cath done 4 months ago and found 2 small arteries blocked which they opened with a balloon. the problems started long before the heart cath and have gotten worse. It goes away by just relaxing for a few minutes. I thought I was having a heart attack a few days ago and went to the ER. They said it wasn't a heart attack. What could it be? Please help
Narrowing of the stent r native vessel needs to be investigated. The next step is Treadmill Exercise ECG (TMT) with thallium isotope. It is the ideal non-invasive way to evaluate ischemia / to assess the PHYSIOLOGY (function) – to see whether the blood arriving at the heart muscle. The treating doctor alone can suggest further based on his assessment of the situation.
Good luck Take care Wishing all well God bless
