Chest Pain, Shortness Of Breath. EKG, Chest CT Done, Slightly Elevated D Dimmer

Was in er yesterday for chest pain and shortness of breath. Had bloodwork done an ekg and chest ct with contrast. All came back normal except slightly elevated d dimmer. Also weeks before had an ultrasound on leg due to it swelling and it also came back negative. Now I'm worried about the abnormal d dimmer test any advice?

If the d dimer is elevated and u had acute onset of shortness of breath and chest pain then rather then a CT chest you should have got done a CT angiography of the chest to look for any blood clots.
You also have a swelling of the leg which came negative you say so get a 2D echo of the chest BNP levels to cOnfirm any heart disease
