Chest Tightness While Walking. X-ray And Heart Check Ups Normal. Muscular?
Hi, about a year ago I once in a while get a tightening in my upper chest upper back and into my neck when I am going for a walk or walking up the stairs at work. I have had a chest xray and also seen a cardiologist and everything is normal. I am good health. I m wondering if it might have to do with the muscles in the area that are not being used enough since I have an office job and sit at my desk a lot.

hi.. thanks for using HCM.. you have chest tightness while working and walking upstairs.. this needs to be evaluated to angina with ECG and treadmill stress test.. once it is ruled out then we can think of muscular problems due to bad posture, repititive strain injury.. for this see a physiotherapist, along with analgesics tablets and gels for application.. do regular exercises and multivitamins with micronutritient supplements... all the very best.
