Chewing Tobacco. Firm Lymph Nodes Under Jawline. Normal?
I have been chewing tobacco for the last 8 years, and for 6 of those years I have used a tin a day and do not spit on a regular basis when using. Recently I have notice two marlble sized (or slightly smaller) lymph nodes (one on each side) under my jaw line towards the pivot point of my jaw. How long they have been like this I don t know, they are fairly firm but are not tender. What is the normal size of these lymph nodes, and is this something I should have looked at by a doctor?
You must consult your doctor as these lymph nodes unless enlarged, not palpable with ease.
There are many reasons for enlargement including mild infection over tonsil also.
Doctor will examine and advise any further investigations needed or not.
Thanks.
