Pediatrician 's  Response
Dear user,

It depends on whether you have yourself had chicken pox or not in the past, regardless of whether your children had the problem. I think it won't harm to visit your physician to explore the option of taking an immunoglobulin injection to reduce the chances of contracting the infection and to counter the virus if already entered in your body. This may either prevent the infection from occurring or reduce its intensity.
