Hi my daughter age 3years 8 months she is getting quickly cold when she goes to school because if other children got the cold she is getting quickly.Some time back one of the doctor precribe the nebuliser with the medicin levolin 0.31mg when she was in 2years old.Present also she is getting cold and suffering with toomuch plughm after womit only she is getting relief.In this situation can i use this medicine to relief her breath easy.Please kindly suggest me.Regards Balu

hi... your child has got repeated bouts of respiratory tract infection.. it is very common with school going children.. dont self medicate the child, see your pediatrician before giving anything.. get the due vaccination for the child, start the multivitamins to boost the immunity... all the very best..
Cold and cough are frequent in children below the age of 6 years because of frequent exposure.
Just symptomatic treatment with oral antihistamines and cough syrup is required.
Nebulization with levolin is required if the child has wheezing in the lungs which is known by the doctor examination or some times to normal human ear.
If there is nose block, you can put one or two saline nasal drops into each nostril to clear the nose.
Consult her pediatrician for clinical examination and to prescribe appropriate medication.
