Child. Red Spots On Throat And Body, Spreading White Pimples With Redness. Had Fever. Any Ideas?

My four year old started out with a fever last Week, 7 days ago, which lasted maybe 2 days. She then began to have red spots on her throat as well as on her body. The doctor said hand, foot and mouth. Nothing on her hands or feet, but she did have red dots that seemed to scab over on her neck and leg. Not many just a few. She now has white pimple like spots with a red area around them. She's tired, no fever, throat is healed but the pimple like dots are showing up on her legs. Any ideas?

Hi,

Your 4yrs old son is positively suffering from Hand foot mouth disease.The rash of this illness will persist for 7days and subside without scaring.Usually this rash is non itchy but if it does you could apply calamine lotion for soothing effect.
