Child. Vomitting. Diagnosed Multiple Enlarged Non Caseating Mesenteric Nodes. Suggest
Hi ,my son is 4 years old and having problem of vomit sensation for so many times in a day since almost a year...but now since last few days he is literally vomiting once in 2 days on regular basis... we got the sonography done and found multiple enlarged non caseating mesenteric nodes , the largest node measures 1.4 *0.9 cms so what to do with this...please suggest
Hi ,
Thank you for your query.
There is mesenteric lymphadenopathy but it usually causes pain more than vomiting per se.
An antibiotic course can be started and an anti-emetic can be given for 3 days.
If the vomiting persists a liver function test should be done and a antiacid medication can be started.
If you have any further queries you are free to consult me.
Hope this answers your query.
Wishing a speedy recovery.
Have a nice day.
