hi i had a baby 6 months ago still no period before i had baby i had a polip and been sent for an ultrsound but havent had blood done when i had the baby i lost alot blood and was given a blood transfusion and nurse told me i had white blood count cells so there was infection sumwere i also has diarhea for 5 months can u help

Hi,

Thanks for your query.
As per your query, your current complain is diarrhea for 5 months and history of infection after delivery evidenced with raised white cell count.

But diarrhea continuously for 5 months indicate there must be infection of gastrointestinal tract. I do not think that it is related to delivery.
I would suggest you to consult physician in which case you may need to take anti-biotics / anti protozoal drugs. Because amoebic kind of dysentry last longer if not treated well.

Infections like endometritis which are common after delivery usually are noticed after delivery till 1 months time but will not cause this kind of diarrhea.
