Child Complaining Of Stomach Pain Only During Night. Had Chest Infections. Can It Be A Sign Of Asthma?

My 5 1/2 year old daughter has been complaining of stomach pain for some time. It is mostly limited to night time when she has just laid down to rest. I don't believe it is a stalling/behavioural thing related to bedtime. She has food allergies and for the longest time I just assumed it was actually stomach pain likely from an undiagnosed food allergy or lactose or something. We have tried a laxative to ensure it wasn't constipation. We have tried Lactaid in case it was lactose intolerance. In July she ended up with pneumonia (diagnosed without an xray) and then in October she had bronchitis (initial thought was pneumonia but chest x ray rules that out). My doctor is saying she is likely pre asthmatic, thus the 2 chest infections. She also has eczema (totally under control right now and not noticeable). When she had her chest infections her main symptom was a stomach ache (extreme pain). Well obviously it wasn't a stomach pain it was breathing pain that radiated to her stomach area. Now I am starting to think her nightly stomach pain is not actually stomach but perhaps breathing pain. As she is getting older she has now described her pain as both stomach aches as well as said it hurts when I breathe. I have not noticed any other difficulties breathing. She is very active and there has never been an incident with difficulty breathing. Could this be signs of asthma or should I be querying something else?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I appreciate your concern, this is not the refer pain and not the asthma, but in my opinion this could be colicky abdominal pain, you have to make sure to the kid that nothing is wrong and every thing will be okay, the pain can be managed with "Dicyclomine syrup" 15 ml three times in day, will give good result, one very important advise I would like to give you here, stop thinking bizarre, and do not give any medicine without the advise of doctor, this could create problem, take good care of child and have great day.
I find this answer helpful
