Child Eating Pencils And Erasers. Has Emotional Issues. Any Development Issues Causes This?

Hi,
I am a special educator in a regular school set up. I work with children with learning difficulties.
There is girl in 1st grade. I got complaints from her teacher that she has been eating pencils, erasers etc. Basically non food items. I assessed her. surely something is wrong with her. She seems to be having emotional issues. Adjusting to new setup etc.
Can u help me with it. Is it pica? Any developmental issues is causing it . Should i refer her to dr. ?

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
She is eating pencils, eraser etc , I have treated so many cases.
Inferon injection is available in market .
Intramuscular one injection on alternates day only three injection will be sufficient .
Inferon injection causes rash ,high fever , swelling at the site of injection, which subsides within 4-5 days.
First of all take 0.2 ml in syringe and give I/M or S/C ( subcutaneous ) .
After three days, 2 ml on alternate day ( 3 injections total).
In my opinion child will never eat such things.
Good luck.
Scientifically not proved but practically given to many patients.
