Child Feeling Sick After Head Being Hit. Given Panadol. Should Be Worried?
My daughter hit her head on the underside of a filing cabinet draw. I had left it open, she popped up underneath it and banged her head. She has a small scratch on her scalp but no actual blood seepage. Her pupils react normally to light and I gave ger a panadol for the pain but she says she feels sick. Is this something I need to be concerned about?
the signs of raised intracranial pressure due to head injury may start after 6 to 8 hrs of head injury, they r repeated projictile vomiting, diffuse attention, disorientation, severe headache, rarely seizures. so if u find any of these symptoms u hav to worry. do not worry by the description which u hav given it looks like a minor injury, ur daughter will get well soon.
