Child Finished Chemotherapy. Having High SGOT Levels. Matter Of Concern?

hi, i just wanna ask about the SGOT of my daughter she is 6 years old and finished her chemotheraphy 8 months ago.. her SGOT result is 36 but it says that the normal SGOT is 8-33 u/L and her SGPT is 19 i just want to know what does it mean..im just scared that something might happen please help me.. thanks in advance

Hi,
Thanks and welcome to HCM.
SGPT and SGOT are liver enzymes .They increase when the liver is diseased.
AS you have taken chemotherapy and the drugs are metabolised in the liver, they have done these tests .
The results are absolutely normal and nothing to worry.
