Hi, if the problem is from the birth, it usually will be cleared by the age of 6 years. but if it is started after the age of 3 years, it will continue for life. The cold of new born is called the tracheobronchitis. The effect of the late origin can be controlled by levocitrizine, and montelecost, or may be by triamcinolone. Thank you.
The medicines which your child have been taking are generally used in childhood hyperactive bronchial airway diseases.some children have hyperactive bronchioles which react easily to some allergens and thn baby feels difficulty in breathing.continue with medications prescribed.does in your family anyone has history of asthma.besides medication keep your child away from dust, smoke of any kind, damp areas and excessive emotional trauma.these factors too aggravate the attack of cough in babies.after 5 yrs of age incidences like these should all together vanish.wishing him speedy recovery.
