Child Has Eczema. Prescribed Steroid Cream And Anti-allergy Medication. Sleepy, Not Feeding Well And Underweight. Remedy?

My 3.5 month old baby was diagnosed with eczema yesterday. He was prescribed a steroid cream and anti allergy meds. Since taking the anti allergy medication he was very sleepy and not feeding well so I stopped it after 2 doses. He has a hoarse voice though so not sure how that came about but I can tell you hat he for sure was not crying excessively - just the normal amount that kids do so I am concerned what could have caused this. Also he's underweight at only 5.5 kg

thanks for posting the query . first u r right that your baby weight is less ideally it should be around 7 kg . if baby is full term and at birth weight was 2/5 to 3 kg it means after that your baby did nt gain weight in proper manner .
for this you should consult to your doctor bec there are several reason ... like history of any illness . diarrhoea or any other infection or feeding problem .
your current query is eczema .. any antiallergic medication have side effect of drowziness . there are some antiallergic which produces less sedation
you should not stop medication abruptly , consult your doctor again . drowziness is common side effect no need to wry .
