My son has a stopped up tear duct and is a few days away from a month old. I read online to just use a warm clothe to wipe them and eventually it will get better and it has improved alot. My mother n law is not someone I put alot of faith in on any kind of opinion especially when it comes to my son but she is telling my wife something about purchasing some sweet oil(whatever that is!)and using it around his eye or in his eye not sure exactly sure what she is thinking because I dont talk alot to her but I need a opinion from a professional on this cause thats the only way my wife is gonna believe any different. Is it safe and if so how and if not what are the warnings if used? Thank you very much for your time
