Dear madam, from the history u have given there are some details missing. can u let me know whether there is family history of allergic asthma and what kind of treatment u have taken for past years.High levels of immunoglobins specify he is allergic...As a pediatrician i would advice u follow allopathy.Kindly do pulmonary function test and let me know the details i asked . I shall guide u then
There is no need to panic .
Your son has allergic asthma & an elevated IgE level only supports the diagnosis.
This report has no other major implications.
With due respect to ayurveda , asthma in children is easily manageable with modern allopathy though there is no cure for this condition .
Discuss with your pediatrician & if he is not getting desired relief check the medicine compliance & specifically inhaler technique.
Keep him away from strong odours & perfumes.
CIGARETTE SMOKING INSIDE HOUSEHOLD SHOULD BE BANNED.
Hope you find the information useful.
Immunoglobulin E is a chemical which goes up in presence of allergy. In your case, it seems very high, reflecting the fact that your son is allergic.
I will be unable to comment upon Ayurvedic treatment for the same, as I am not qualified in Ayurveda.
There are lot of treatment options available. You have not mentioned about which allergies he has got/whether skin testing has been done to find out substances he is allergic to and what current medications he is on for his Asthma.
I would request to find out Allergy Specialist - Allergologist doctor in your city and consult him for the same.
