Child Has Cloudy And Fishy Smelling Urine. Urinary Tract Infection?
My 14 month old sons urine was cloudy and fishy smelling tonight I noticed. Could it be a urinary tract infection? He has also been very grumpy and irritable the last few days and has been off his food and more tired than usual and has been having sleepless nights. He does have one of his back teeth coming in as well though so I just put it down to that but after smelling his urine I m worried if could be something more.

Yes, it could be urinary infection.
you have to check urine routine and culture immediately.
Cloudy urine may also be from protein in urine.
In boys UTIs are rare!
Please get him examined by a pediatrician.

Yes as you suspect it can be due to Urinary infection.
Teething can cause crankiness, refusal of food and crying at nights, but not lethargy.
Have him seen by your Pediatrician.
Get his urine microscopy and urine culture done.
Based on the reports your doctor will suggest you antibiotics.
You may give him teethers for teething pain along with oral Acetaminophen in a dose of 15mg/kg/day given 3 to 4 times in a day to ease the pain.
Give him plenty of water, juices for his urinary infection. Cranberry juice will be of help.
