Child Has Cold, Prescribed Montair. What To Do?
my daughter is 2 and a half year old she has just started going to day care.she was advised montair lc kid for cold last fortnight .she has been suffering from cold for about 15--20 days i mean every now and then for the last month. what to do now otherwise she is fine .i give her pediasure twice with milk.i hv given her montair for last 10-12 days as advised by her doc

Montair lc kid contains Monteleukast and levocetrizine. Monteleukast is usually used in cases of allergic rhinitis and in cases of bronchial asthma for decreasing frequency of attacks,it works by reducing inflamation in airways
Levocetrizine is antiallergic medicine used in cases of allergies.
I think You should try Steam inhalation with caution and nasoclear drops for your child as you are complaining of only cold and no other complaints.
