Child Has Coughing, Sneezing, Runny Nose. Prescribed Antibiotics, Ventolin Syrup. Is Predcort Safe?
hi my daughter is four months old. She has been coughing and sneezing and has runny now from she was three mths. Her doctor did an xray and said she has bronchiolist. She treated her with antibiotices, ventolin syrup and now the ventolin pump. Her conditions have subsided for some time but flared up once more. She coughs still and its really bad.. the doctor gave me predcort ds. is it safe for her, what could be causing her to cough so much?

The little baby is suffering from a viral infection , which usually occur in babies of day care centers.
Do you have any family history of allergic disorders?
Continue with the medications, it will take & days to settle.
Get your baby vaccinated according to protocols.
Give her steam and xylometazoline nasal drops , 2 drops in both nostrils three times a day.
Decrease the volume and frequency of milk and add soft diet like mashed meat, banana , cereals , rice and vegetables.
