Child Has Dark Spot On Face, No Pain. Any Idea?
My daughter had a dark round spot appear on her face suddenly. We were visiting my in-laws and they live in a very rural area of VA. She was outside playing and when she came back inside, I noticed it immediately. Thought it was dirt but it didn t come off. Then I thought maybe it was a bite or sting, but she said it didn t hurt. It seemed like it started to fade in a couple hours...but then when she woke up this morning it is MUCH darker. It is flat and round and right below her left eye on her cheek. Any idea of what this could be?

It is very difficult to give any suggestion of the possible cause of the dark spot without having a look at it. I suggest that you can wait and watch it for the next 48 hours and in case it causes any problem then consult your doctor.
