Hello. Thanks for the query. To keep the fever down give paracetamol in the correct dose every four to six hours, and meftal p as suggested by your doctor if the fever does not decrease. Do sponging with like warm water to keep the fever down. Child may need antibiotic, depending on urine test result or if there is any other problem like throat or chest infection. If you notice, eyeballs going up, fits , or if child is not feeding or any abnormal symptom, please take her to hospital at once. Give lots of fluids, at least frequent small sips, to drink due to the high fever. Always, stay by the child till recovery. Hope your child recovers soon. Bye.
