My 6 year old daughter came down with acute follicular conjunctivitis June 19. She was also complaining of being itchy all over with no rash . Since this time we have seen numerous doctors, been diagnosed with allergies, both environmental and food, gone on the elimination diet , started all kinds of meds and seen a rhuemtory arthritis specialist. We are awaiting blood work as they are looking at an autoimmune diagnosis - said something seems to be interfering with her mucus membranes functioning. 2 weeks ago she began to say her throat felt hot and burning. Drinking cold things did not help. She said sometimes it feels like stuff is coming up. It gets numb and tingly and hot. I have been asking for help but don t know what else to do. She has so many physical things bothering her - severe itchiness particularly on the hands and feet when getting out of water so much so that we have to sleep with ice packs, ears that constantly change pressure and feel gooey(they have been examined and are perfect - no one knows what this is) she is super hot from the inside out. Should I take her for a GI check?
