Child Has Projectile Vomiting, Red Rash. Worried
my 11 month old baby has started to projectile vomit her bottle she gets just before bed. its happened the last two nights. she seams a little off sorts and I have also noticed a slight rash around her body. very small red like bumps almost like a heat rash, Im unsure if the two are related? I am a terrible worrier and Im upset now she may have a bug.

Hi dear,
Vomiting probably is reflux. One or two vomitings can happen normally in any child. Just don't put her in the lying position immediately after feeding. Put her in an elevated position & burping is recommended. As long as the baby is gaining weight some amount of vomiting is acceptable. Rash might not be related to vomiting. Just apply calamine lotion and she will be fine in few days. If problem persists, show her to a pediatrician to be sure that everything is fine.
