Child Has Rash, Redness, Clear Discharge. Bumps On Face, Itchy, Painful
Trying to dx a rash that my nephew has who is 6, one is the size of a 50 cent piece round and raised, looks like a first degree burn looks raw red and gets a blister and leaks clear fluid, has 3 on his legs one between his toes, one on his stomach by his waist band and now starting to get bumps on is face, he was taken to the dr and thought to be swimmers itch, or a reaction to mysquoite bites, they are itchy and at times painful. Diane
This is more likely impetigo, a staph infection, and needs to be treated with an antibiotic. I would contact his doctor again and ask for a prescription as I think it is more than just an innocent rash caused by swimming.

Child Has Rash, Redness, Clear Discharge. Bumps On Face, Itchy, Painful
Hi, Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic. Blister lesions usually seen in some skin conditions like impetigo, pemphigus, and epidermal lytic lesions. Clinical examination is needed to diagnose the skin conditions. Some times an insect bite also leads to blisters. Consult the dermatologist for physical examination and for the management of skin lesions. Hope I have answered your query. Regards.
